PRINCIPLE OFFICERS


 
G. Scott Pfoff, President & Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Pfoff has over 25 years experience in the oil and gas business and currently operates from the Houston office. He has extensive experience in a variety of aspects of Cook Inlet Oil and Gas operations and lived in Alaska for seven years. Mr. Pfoff has been directly involved with, or supervised numerous successful negotiations for the sale and purchase of natural gas in Alaska and throughout the Lower 48 states.
 
David Boelens, Vice President - Alaska Operations
David Boelens has been involved in the oil & gas business in Alaska since 1980. He has an extensive business background in Cook Inlet Operations as well as North Slope Operations. He resides in Anchorage and provides onsite supervision/support for the Alaska Operations with a special focus on well service activities and camp operations.

 
Patti Polk, Assistant Vice President
Ms. Polk has been with Aurora Power for over ten years, overseeing the financial and administrative aspects of the company.  She is presently responsible for managing Aurora's gas supply portfolio and gas contract administration.  She also has over fifteen years experience in the banking industry and currently offices in Houston.

Andy Clifford, Executive Vice President, Exploration.
Andy Clifford has over 27 years experience in the petroleum industry in exploration, development, and acquisitions in practically every important basin throughout the world. He is credited with having developed with the drill bit over 1 billion barrels of oil equivalent reserves with discoveries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, Gulf of Mexico, the UK North Sea, and Alaska. He graduated with a degree in geology from London University and has worked as a geophysicist for Exxon, Kuwait Oil and BHP Petroleum in London, Melbourne and Houston, prior to co-founding Aurora Gas, for which he is Executive Vice President, Exploration.

 
Ed Jones, Executive Vice President, Engineering and Operations
Ed Jones has over 30 years of experience in the petroleum industry in engineering, operations, and management since graduating from Colorado State University with a degree in engineering. He has worked in the Rockies, Mid Continent, and Gulf Coast areas for Texaco, Energy Reserves Group,and BHP Petroleum in engineering and management roles, had executive responsibility in several Vice President positions for BHP Petroleum (Americas), and consulted prior to co-founding Aurora Gas in 1999. He is the Executive Vice President, Engineering and Operations for Aurora Gas, responsible for drilling, construction, and production operations and all facets of petroleum engineering.
